Dr. Randy Reid, Superintendent of Schools

Dr. Randy Reid joined Tyler ISD—the largest school system in East Texas—as Superintendent on July 1, 2007.

From 2005 until June, 2007, Dr. Reid served as Superintendent for Celina ISD.

Dr. Reid believes that all students are highly capable and that parents, community members and businesses share with the schools the responsibility to ensure children achieve excellence in their educational experience.

Born in Dallas, Dr. Reid holds a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University; a Master’s and a Doctorate in Education Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
