Tyler ISD high
school students may take one SAT Reasoning TestorACT Plus
Writing Test for free!
TISD will
reimburse 2009 - 2010 students, who have not previously been reimbursed or
received a waiver, for either one SAT Reasoning Test ($47.00)
or one ACT Plus Writing Test ($48.00) who are enrolled in
high school.
The procedure
for registration and reimbursement is as follows:
1. Students
self-register online for the SAT Reasoning Test at
www.collegeboard.comor
for the ACT Plus Writing Test at
www.act.org.
2. Student
pays the registration fee and prints a copy of the payment page. A copy of the
payment page (or proof of payment) is required for reimbursement.
3. After a
student receives his/her scores, the student brings a copy of the SAT
or ACT ScoreREPORT,a copy of the payment page
(or proof of payment), and a COMPLETEDRequest for SAT or ACT Reimbursement
(click to open the form) to the counselors office.
4. The Campus
Accountant will compile and mail reimbursement checks once each month.
*TISD will
only reimburse the registration fee for one SAT Reasoning Test or
ACT Plus Writing Test. No specialized testing or late fees will be
reimbursed.
