632C - Facilitator of Student Intervention Services
REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Intervention Services

Wage/Hour Status: Exempt
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Facilitates with the Coordinator to assure compliance with state and federal regarding RtI and
District RtI plan
2. Applies research and data to improve the content, sequence, alignment, and outcomes of the teaching/learning process with regard to student intervention
3. Works with Response to Intervention Campus Teams to develop strong instructional support models and provide training on the functionality of the RtI Campus Teams
4. Facilitates, supports, trains, and evaluates professional learning for Response to Intervention to staff and administrators
5. Facilitates training and implementation for staff and administrators in progress monitoring of all students in intervention classes
6. Assists teachers and principals in collecting data to drive instruction with a focus on student achievement in intervention classes
7. Analyze, interpret and communicate data from district and state assessments to staff and administrators
8. Assists Coordinator to secure and input data to evaluate intervention program effectiveness
9. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
10. Meets with administrators and grade level/subject area teachers at the campus level to design,, define, plan, and review interventions to improve instruction
11. Schedules time to be on campuses to assist intervention teachers and administrators by monitoring fidelity of program, effectiveness of teacher and program, scheduling, and problem-solving
12. Facilitates meetings throughout the year with intervention teachers elementary, middle school, high school
13. Complies, maintains, files, and presents reports, records and other documents required
14. Maintains Response to Intervention Procedures Handbook, Policies/Guidelines and communicates this information to administrators and staff
15. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication with students, staff, parents, and community
16. Ability to perform duties with awareness of and adherence to all district requirements, policies, and procedures
17. Performs other tasks and assumes such responsibilities as related to the position and as assigned

Mental Demands:
Reading, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written, maintain
emotional control under stress; ability to facilitate district wide curriculum
functions.
Physical Demands: Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computers; transporting curriculum materials for staff development; and frequent district wide travel; occasional statewide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
