calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff. |

as required and/or approved by the director. |

Process purchase
order requests. |

Prepare
correspondence, forms, reports, etc. for the department using personal
computer and typewriter. |

Respond to campus facilities emergency situations with
proper actions including notification to public utility companies and/or
emergency agencies. |

Assists in preparation and
maintains budget records for the Maintenance department. |

Perform routine
bookkeeping tasks, including basic arithmetic and time computation, for the
department. |

Order material from
outside vendors, as requested. |

Monitor,
edit, and process
departmental time cards, including leave requests and reports; compile
information and submit to the payroll department. Summer elementary and
middle school custodial payroll reports. |

Compile pertinent
data as needed when preparing various reports, including accident reports. |

|
Establish and maintain physical and
computerized departmental files. |

|
Schedule maintenance
department employees for required training sessions such as related to
asbestos and hazardous materials. |

Complies with
directions and instructions from director and performs other tasks and
assumes such responsibilities as may be assigned. |

Maintains positive
and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and others in the
conduct of district business; demonstrates teamwork in daily activities. |

Is prompt, timely,
and thorough in completing assignments and attending to details accurately
and efficiently. |

Is regular in
attendance and complies with notification procedure for absences. |

Manage rentals of all district facilities with the
exception of Caldwell Auditorium, Athletic Facilities and Robert E. Lee
Fine Arts Center. |

Manage booking of the Plyler Complex meeting rooms for
district use. |
