Assist in
installing and repairing wiring, electronic fixtures, electronic
equipment, and components of machinery and equipment following codes,
manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints. |

Assist in
installing and repairing control and distribution apparatus, including
motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc. |
|
3.
|
Assist in
installing and connecting power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and
electrical apparatus for machines and equipment in new and existing
facilities following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints. |
|
4.
|
Assist in
diagnosing and resolving problems in electronic circuits, systems, and
equipment using testing instruments and equipment |
|
5.
|
Assist in
testing continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety of
components using testing instruments.
|
|
6.
|
Assist in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and
installing electrical conduit using rulers, measuring devices, hand tools,
pipe threaders, and conduit bender. |
|
7.
|
Assist in
repairing and/or replacing electronic appliances, including, but not
limited to, Intercoms, Fire Alarms, Bell systems and Athletic Scoreboards. |
|
8.
|
Assist in
receiving and completing work orders. |
|
9.
|
Assist in
selecting material and hardware and making time and materials estimates. |
|
10.
|
Assist in
maintaining accurate records on material and labor used. |
|
11.
|
Assist in
maintaining inventory of district-owned tools, equipment and materials. |
|
12.
|
Assist in
working with building principals and supervisors to complete projects. |
|
13.
|
Assist in
detecting needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment following
established inspection procedures. |
|
14.
|
Respond to
emergency calls as needed. |
|
15.
|
Assist in
performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. |
|
16.
|
Assist in
operating tools and equipment according to established procedures.
|
|
17.
|
Assist in
ensuring that all equipment is in safe operating condition. |
|
18.
|
Follow
established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties,
including lifting, climbing, etc. |
|
19.
|
Assist in
correcting unsafe conditions in work area and reporting any conditions
that are not correctable to supervisor immediately. |
|
20.
|
Complies
with directions and instructions from supervisor; performs other tasks and
assumes such responsibilities as may be assigned. |
|
21.
|
Maintains positive and
cooperative working relationships with colleagues and others in the
conduct of district business and demonstrates teamwork in daily
activities. |
|
22.
|
Is prompt, timely, and thorough in completing assignments and attending to
details accurately and efficiently. |
