This week, Tyler ISD is celebrating Texas Public Schools.  As part of the week-long emphasis, schools are inviting community members and special guests to visit classrooms and participate in open house events. 

U.S. Representative Louie Gohmert will visit with third and fourth grade students at Orr Elementary and share his personal story and how his career path has lead him to his position with the United States Congress.  Gohmert will explain how the election process works and also share stories about Texas history.
