News Release TISD Students Place in Academic Rodeo Competition
Congratulations to the Tyler ISD students who participated and placed in the annual East Texas Academic Rodeo. The academic competition gives students an opportunity to put their knowledge and skills to the test with other students in the East Texas area. Events range from individual contests to team events, with contests for all ages – Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Depending on the contest, students receive awards in the form of money, scholarships, medallions, trophies, acrylic awards, ribbons and certificates. Please join us on Thursday, February 24th in the historic Mayfair Building, located at 2112 West Front St., Tyler. The event will take place at 10:30 a.m. as Tyler ISD students are recognized, along with approximately 300 students from East Texas, for their achievements in the fourteen competitive events of Academic Rodeo.
