Local Business Makes a Big Delivery to TISD School

Academy Sports Donates Bicycles to Students at Douglas Elementary

Academy Sports and Outdoors of Tyler is collaborating with Douglas Elementary to give back this holiday season.  Representatives from Academy Sports and Outdoors will award 30 bikes and helmets to 15 girls and 15 boys at Douglas Elementary School for having perfect attendance this school semester.

 

Thank you Academy for this $2600 donation! Academy’s annual youth program is in its ninth year.

Photo opportunity will begin at 1:00 p.m.: Large assembly of children and happy recipients of Academy Sports and Outdoors bikes and helmets.
