TISD Students Make Holiday Bright with Lights

Volunteers from Reliable Life Insurance Company will decorate four new Habitat for Humanity homes with Christmas lights generously donated by the student senate of Robert E. Lee High School.  The decorating events will take place on Friday, December 10, 2010, from noon to 2:00 p.m. starting on the home located at 2708 DePriest Avenue.

The Robert E. Lee student senate used all new lights to decorate the school gym for their homecoming dance in November.  Afterwards, they chose to donate all of the lights to Habitat for Humanity of Smith County.

All four families moved into their Habitat for Humanity homes within the past 8 months.
