TISD School Calendar Available for Public Input

            A draft copy of the 2009-2010 school calendar for the Tyler Independent School District is available for public input.  The community may view the calendar and submit input by clicking on the 2009-2010 Draft Calendar link at www.tylerisd.org. The calendar is available for input until Wednesday, January 21, at 5:00 p.m.

“The posting of the draft calendar assists families and community members to begin planning for the following school year,” said Angela Jenkins, Director of Communications for Tyler ISD.  “Community feedback is the most valuable tool we have in planning the school calendar.”

The Tyler ISD administration will recommend that the Board of Trustees approve the 2009-2010 school calendar at the regular scheduled board meeting held on Thursday, January 22, at 7:00 p.m. at the Plyler Instructional Complex, located at 807 West Glenwood, Tyler.
