Board Approves Plans for Three Campuses

The Board of Trustees unanimously approved the exterior elevations and floor plans for Clarkston, Orr and Woods elementary schools.

C-Scope Curriculum Study Session

Kim Tunnell, Tyler ISD Director of Curriculum and Instruction, updated the Board of Trustees on the C-Scope curriculum being implemented district-wide.  Tunnell reviewed the progress being made during Phase I of the program.  She explained the shift of instructional delivery to the 5E model. Two teachers demonstrated lessons in the math and science curriculum.  Through these demonstrations the Board members were able to experience and receive first-hand knowledge of the level of instruction and expectations of all students and staff.
