A Summary of the
August 5, 2008, Tyler ISD Board of Trustees Meeting
Budget Workshop
Tosha Bjork,
Tyler ISD Director of Financial Services, presented the
District’s budget to the Board of Trustees to analyze the
information. The Board of Trustees will establish the
exact tax rate to
present at the public hearing scheduled for Tuesday, August
26.
Bond Workshop
Tyler ISD
Superintendent, Dr. Randy Reid, presented to the Board of
Trustees the final list of projects the District plans to
bring forward to next Tuesday’s Board meeting when it is
planned to call the Bond election for November 4. The list
of projects presented totaled $124,877,042, and included the
following campuses:
